Comparison between the ATT By-pass Damper System and the Variable Speed Fan System
The animation below compares the ATT's Bypass Damper System (right hand side fan) with the variable speed fan implementation (left hand side fan), some other companies use. While both systems vary the amount of room air extracted depending on the door position, only ATT's Bypass Damper System ensures a constant high exhaust velocity as can be seen below. This is critical for health and safety, and also to comply with Australian Standards and State Authorities regulations.
ATT's Bypass Damper System works by diluting the extracted room air with a variable amount of outside air depending on the position of the sliding door to ensure a constant exhaust velocity (the green ball stays always on the top of the ductwork) and lower fume concentration levels.
Ask for our newest CD " SAFETY and Energy Saving Fume Cupboard Systems" where in a Video Clip the differences are clearly demonstrated.
