 The LABTEC SLTXXX SISW centrifugal fan units have the following features:

• The size and make of the fabricated fan unit is always selected to suit the application, the fume cupboard and the length of its associated duct work. The fan case is in general of made heavy duty welded UPVC with in a single inlet. Mounting screws, nuts and washers are of stainless steel. The bottom of the fan unit incorporates a 25 mm diameter drain outlet.

• The impeller is either forward or backward curved to suit the application and in general fabricated of heavy duty welded UPVC.

• The selected motor is totally enclosed, fan cooled and water hose proofed. Single and three phase type motors with different speeds are available.

• The fan unit and the motor are totally sealed from each other as required by Australian Standard.

• Fan unit and motor are mounted by stainless steel fasteners to a hot-dip galvanised mild steel fan-and-motor pedestal with vibration mounts.

• Fan units can be either of direct coupled or belt driven design.

• Other materials as e.g. polypropylene and stainless steel can also be used for the fan construction.
